Perennial herbaceous lianas;Roots terete, grayish-black, ca. 8 mm in diam.Stem covered with two rows of hairs.Leaves opposite, membranous, ovate-lanceolate, 7-10 cm long, 4-8 cm wide at base, apically long acuminate, deeply auriculate at base, auricles rounded, pendulous, pilose on both sides.Umbelliferous cyme axillary, with flowers more than 20;Calyx outside pubertate, 5 glands on inner surface of base;Corolla white, lobed oblong, inner pubertate;Corona cup-shaped, slightly longer than stamen crown, lobes with 1 denticulate in the middle, or fold or absent;1 pollen block per compartment, pendulous;Stigma apically slightly 2-lobed.
